6 - 9 August 2021 | #TheUntamedSelfCompassionBreak

Updated: Aug 11, 2021

You are here to decide if your life, relationships and world are true and beautiful enough for you. And if they are not and you dare to admit they are not, you must decide if you have the guts, the right - perhaps even the duty - to burn to the ground that which is not true and beautiful enough and get started building

what is.” ~ Glennon Doyle

This is an invitation to re-connect to your Untamed nature - the intuitive, wise, creative, fierce part of yourself that will help you start that fire!

Self-Compassion - makes it possible for us to be with ourselves just as we are - in all our messiness. Fierce, fearless compassion - with courage, curiosity and trust in basic goodness helps us to see possibilities we might not have otherwise imagined or ever thought possible and invites us to take action.

Creative Guiding centres on the creative process and journey of making art rather than the finished product. Karen Nebe gently nudges and guides art-making in a supportive environment. She draws on inspiration from nature and its elements, stories, poetry and other stimuli.

The emphasis is on the experience of creating, developing and reflecting. There is a deepening of self-awareness in which one's thinking does not override the process of spontaneity and creativity. It’s about an inward exploration, being in the present moment, letting go of expectations and being curious about whatever emerges.

No art experience is required.

The culture of learning which Swamiji encouraged has led her to constantly be looking for ways to deepen and inform her own practice and teaching skills.
