6 – 9 Aug 2018 | YIN/YANG Harmonising the Masculine and Feminine

Focusing on wholeness - A retreat for men and women

Regardless of gender, we all contain both masculine and feminine energy. As in nature, we function optimally when these energies are in harmony and a state of flow.

Through teaching, facilitated discussions, awareness, mindfulness and breathing exercises, and practical examples we will explore the integration of your masculine and feminine energies in an empowered, harmonious lifestyle, in flow with your natural rhythms and purpose.

Retreat focus and intent:

• Harmonizing your masculinity and femininity to be empowering, not destructive

• Archetypes as a way of understanding yourself (and others)

• Being in flow with the natural elements

• You and relationships: empowering, domineering, victimised?

• Outdated “rules” - how condition and tradition lead to collision

• The vital role of subtle energies and how they flow

• Understand and welcome our natural cycles (men and women)

• Self-love and compassion, and dipping into our shadow-side

• Invoke /deepen your spiritually

• Reflect upon your journey of strength, vulnerability and lessons

• Develop and practice mindfulness at a deep level

• Empower, support and inspire others, and make new friends

• Become true to who you are and live a purposeful life

• Rest, refresh and revitalise

Although the retreat is focused on the wholeness of the individual, and favoured by guests attending solo, we also welcome couples wanting to understand, harmonise and perhaps challenge the expression of these aspects in their relationship.

Facilitated by Celeste Du Toit, Transformational NLP Coach, Holistic Therapist, Speaker and seasoned retreat leader.

“Having been in a corporate and management environment for years, my strong, action-orientated, goal-driven and focused masculine nature was very evident and served me well. Up to a point. Embarking on a personal soul-searching journey, focused on finding meaning and purpose, instilling peace and the desire to help and heal others tapped into my feminine energies. I had to develop these, without losing the drive, focus and passion that is part of me. I had to balance yin and yang. Learning how to harmonise these energies helped me - in my business, my relationships, and my life in general - to become empowered yet flowing, strong yet gentle, confident yet supportive, inspiring yet helpful, passionate yet calming.”
