A spring weekend retreat for fresh intentions, meditation, yoga and you
Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal. It’s the perfect season to reset and leave behind old patterns, to make space for new possibilities and growth.
The busy-ness, noise and overwhelm of life can so easily drown out our inner voice – a voice that speaks with authenticity, clarity, and wisdom, if we only make the time and space to listen and hear what it has to tell us. We also know that joyful actions and creations begin with the heart-felt intentions of this inner voice.
This retreat will create the space for you to tune into your authentic feelings around what fills you with joy. You can use this time to gently let go of anything that needs to be put to rest, and in so doing create space for more of the things that bring you peace and fulfillment as you move forward.
This nurturing spring weekend retreat is for anyone looking to reconnect to that deep reservoir of peacefulness and serenity that exists within each of us. Through connection with the heart and inner voice, we can plant and cultivate our truest intentions to lead us to our most joyful new beginnings in the year ahead.

For me, every time we step onto our mats, we begin a journey – a journey home to ourselves. Yoga is a philosophy and practice for living. It’s about celebrating the adventure of life, being human, our uniqueness, but also our connection to all things.
Coming from a background in dance, I’ve always found joy and expression through movement. But it was yoga that really taught me to listen in and to feel. To move the body in a conscious way, and to reawaken my breath. To embrace not only strength and resilience, but also stillness, quiet and surrender.
After over a decade in the corporate world in London and the renewable energy sector in Cape Town, I was fortunate to found House of Yoga in 2018 – an urban sanctuary in Claremont, Cape Town where people from all walks of life can explore the gifts of yoga.
I completed my 200hr Teacher Training with the Marianne Wells Yoga School in 2016 and my 300hr Advanced Teacher Training with The Shala in 2020. I’ve practiced yoga for 20 years and love interweaving the teachings from the various styles I have explored (including Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Scaravelli, Ashtanga, Yin & Restorative) in my classes.
Through movement, breath work, meditation and philosophy, I am passionate about sharing with others what the practice has gifted me: tools to navigate life with presence, to manage stress and anxiety, and to heal the relationship with self.

Hello! I’m Dom Catto, and yoga has been a transformative part of my life for nearly 18 years. From the moment I first stepped onto a yoga mat during a challenging period in my life, I fell in love with the practice and allowed it to guide my journey ever since.
Over the years, I’ve trained under some truly remarkable teachers and completed two Vinyasa teacher trainings, which solidified my dedication and expertise in the craft of yoga. My professional growth reached a significant milestone when I graduated from the prestigious Jivamukti Teacher Training in New York. Additionally, my commitment to holistic health and wellness practices led me to undertake a Yoga Therapy training in Nasik, Maharashtra, India.
My favourite aspect of these practices is how they have reintroduced me to myself. Yoga has allowed me to know my body and mind deeply and intimately. It has guided me on a path of kindness, compassion, and respect for myself and others. We are all trying to figure out this life together, and yoga has taught me how to be unapologetically ME.
Today, I reside in McGregor, South Africa — a well-known retreat destination that attracts wellness seekers and those looking for deeper spiritual connections. Here, I continue to share the transformative power of yoga with both residents and visitors to the village.
I am incredibly grateful for this journey and look forward to connecting with more souls passionate about yoga.
What some of our previous guests have said about our retreats:
“This is the second House of Yoga retreat I have attended and both of them exceeded all my expectations. Deeply relaxing atmosphere in which to explore your self and deepen awareness, ultimately for a better understanding of how to approach my journey in life.”
“A perfect opportunity to slow down, reflect, nurture body and soul under gentle guidance in beautiful surroundings with wonderful people.”
“A restful weekend that had the perfect ratio of supportive yoga/meditation/workshop sessions to free time. This was a special retreat of space to just “be”. The sessions complemented and built on each other and besides the rest and renewal I also came away with food for thought and some easy practices to incorporate into my busy day-to-day.”
“Replenishing and restful weekend with like minded people, so needed to re-energize for the rest of the year.”
“The perfect space to connect to other like-minded individuals, and to myself, in the most profound way. I’m immensely grateful to have been able to invest in my own well-being by attending this retreat, and I’d recommend anyone do the same!”
“Een van my memories wat ek vir altyd sal koester.”
